Saturday, February 7th | 12pm-1pm

Make your own arrangement from a wide variety of fresh florals in this hour long instructed workshop. Florals will include your staples of alstroemerias to more unique ones like strawflower and ranunculus. You'll be bringing home your own large arrangement at the end of class.

Profits from all Valentines workshops and preorders will be donated to the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee (MIRAC) and Planned Parenthood.

Mondays (February 9th-March 16th) | 3:30-5:30

In this 6-week after-school class, we will use stop-motion animation as a tool for storytelling and building one's artistic voice. We'll learn about storyboarding,  build props, backdrops, and the confidence necessary for bold creative expression (and also patriarchy toppling). We'll wrap up the last week of class with a micro film festival sharing the work created during our 6 weeks together.  

*All levels of experience welcome! Created for artists ages 12 and up (please reach out if you have a younger artist who is interested).

A great way to cultivate joy and community. Create and embellish painted surfaces using textiles. We’ll start by exploring with no pressure; intuitively painting on fabric free & loose!  We’ll cover  a collection of embroidery stitches you can use to enhance your paintings. We certainly hope you’ll enjoy yourself during this playful class!

*Materials will be supplied, but students can bring textiles they'd like to use.

Spend part of your day off school (these are on days off for Minneapolis Public Schools) getting creative and creating drawings and paintings and trying materials with Megan.
We will have drawing, painting, and collage materials. The session will start with some guided creative exercises and leave time for self directed work.

Join Kate and Laila to gain the skills needed in a top down, in the round sweater pattern. This is a great class for confident knitters ready to knit their first or second sweater. Choose a pattern from our list and plan on bringing your own yarn and needles to work with.
